Is there a documentation on how to rebuild one node of an active/passaive SQL
Server cluster from the O/S up with the SQL Server in use by the other node?
Sort of. Your OS build should be documented in your disaster recovery
documents since it is your unique installation. The steps to add it back in
as a cluster member and a working SQL server are documented in BOL under the
topic 'Maintaining a Failover Cluster'.
